Password Management
Manage the settings and policies for user passwords within a system.
Save Changes / Cancel Changes: Buttons to save or discard any changes made to the password settings.
Security Level: Indicates the current security level for passwords.
Password Length: The minimum required length for a password.
Password Lifetime: Passwords must be changed every X days.
Auto Block After Days of Inactivity: Accounts will be automatically blocked if they have not been active for X days.
Warning Day(s) Before End of Lifetime: Users will receive a warning X days before their password is set to expire.
Allow Re-use of Old Password: Set to "No", if users must create a new password rather than re-using an old one.
Below these settings, there is a guide outlining the requirements for passwords based on the security level:
Low: No special requirements.
Medium: Must contain a minimum of 1 uppercase letter, 1 alphanumeric character, and be at least 5 characters long.
High: Must include at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 alphanumeric character, 1 symbol, and be at least 10 characters long.
On the top right, there is a button labeled "Reset password for all users" which allows an administrator to enforce a password reset for all user accounts.
